Miniature Horses
Back of the Moon farm is a small miniature horse breeding farm located in Southwest CT. We breed for colorful, friendly, show quality horses. Most of our horses are registered AMHA/AMHR and PtHA. Our minis are handled on a daily basis and well exposed to obstacles such as traffic, noises, dogs-you name it. All horses are vaccinated twice a year, regular hoof trimming as well as yearly teeth floating. Although we show performance, our miniatures also make wonderful pets. We are expecting three foals in 2010 who will be offered for sale.
