Woodson's Lady Raven
"Raven" is our 34 inch AMHA/AMHR/PtHA 2004 mare who is homozygous for the tobiano gene and carries Bond bloodlines.

Raven is the 2013 Miniature Pair Champion at Walnut Hill along side our stallion with Nikki Kane as the whip! She also has several Reserve Champions to her name. Raven has had three beautful foals, the last (by  Spoofer) a beautiful leggy black and white colt who has tested homozygous for both the tobiano gene as well as the black gene!
Valley M's Shine by Design
Shiney is our gorgeous '03 bay overo mare. She is 35 inches tall, registered AMHR/PTHA .  Her titles include the 2003 AMHR National Color Champion and  five ROM's with the Pinto Horse Association. Shiney was also awarded the 2009 Pinto Miniature Overo Color Horse of the Year as well as earning the 2008 "Pinto of the Year" for both Discipline Rail Driving and Overo Color, ranking first in the nation. Shiney was successfully shown  with the American Driving Society in 2008-2010 as both a single and  a pair summer of 2010. Though Shiney suffered a devestating accident in  2010 and can no longer drive, she is alive and well, enjoying her retirement.

Kateland's Touch of Summer
"Leah" is our 34 inch silver chestnut pinto mare. AMHA/AMHR/PtHA registered. She is by Kateland's Crackers who is a grandson of AMHA World Grand Champion Bond Cracker Crumble C. Her dam is a silver dapple pinto who is a Walnut Hill ADS driving Champion. Foaled in '03, Leah has earned four Registers of Merit for PtHA in:
Hunter Over Fences  Discipline Rail Driving
Pleasure Driving       Ideal Driving
These four ROM's earned her a Certificate of Ability.
In 2008, Leah was named "Pinto of the Year" for Hunter over Fences, a national title. She also finished in the top 5 nationally for all 3 driving classes.

Leah has successfully been shown as both a single, a pair and a unicorn  at the Walnut Hill Driving Competition for the past several years, which includes a Reserve champion in the mini pair division.
Leah foaled a beautiful leggy black and white filly in April, "Violet".
Kateland Farm Ready, Set, Go!
"Myli" was foaled in 2008 , stands nearly 36 inches and is both AMHR and PTHA registered. We fondly refer to her as "the beast". She is strong as an ox and loves to go. She was named appropriately. Myli has had a fabulous year, having won several Championships ( and Reserves) at ADS shows. She is such a good girl, always aims to please. Myli foaled a beautiful white and chestnut colt by  Spoofer this year!
Kateland's Ice and Gold
"Tyson"  is a palomino pinto gelding who stands at 36 inches.
Foaled in 2001 he is by the same sire as "Leah", Kateland's Crackers. Having had the pleasure of showing him at both the Kateland Farm Spring show and then again at Walnut Hill Driving Competition (and earning a Reserve Champion with him), I just had to bring him home. He is a sweet "go go" horse with unbelievable strength and impulsion. He was successfully shown in either pair or multiple hitches with numerous champions to his name, and will be shown solo in the ring this summer. Tyson brought home  the Small Pony Reserve Champion at Walnut Hill for 2012 and 2013.
Back of the Moon's Dash
"Dash" is our spectacular blue roan gelding who is out of Woodson's Lady Raven and by Kateland's Code Blue. Foaled in April 2011, he is a full brother to our Bluebelle but is 36 inches! He has a beautiful dishy head, four white stockings and is as sweet and friendly as can be. Dash is cart-trained and will be shown in 2014.
Dash is very calm!
Kateland Farm's Maggie
"Maggie" is our newest addition to the farm. Foaled in 2011, AMHA/AMHR registered, and is expected to mature at 34 inches. She is the daughter of two driving champions, so we expect great things from this sweet, beautiful mare! She is Leah's niece and her spitting image as well, so we are hoping to pair them for 2015. We are very excited to begin her training.
Our Horses
Blazin B Moon Shadow
Spoofer came to us all the way from Texas! Foaled in 2001, he measures 33 3/4 inches and is AMHA/AMHR/PtHA registered. He has lovely movement with his nice long legs, a short back and a neck that goes on forever- just what we were looking for. We're thrilled to own him and want to thank Christina Lambert of Cross Roads Miniatures for selling him to us. It was a long trip for him. Spoofer competed in his first ADS shows last summer winning the Miniature Pair Division at Walnut Hill with Nikki Kane as the whip! Spoofer has given us four beautiful babies and so he has been gelded as to allow him a more enjoyable lifestyle. He has started the year well winning the 2014 VSE division at Orleton Farm.

"Gaucho" is the offspring of our 2013 Walnut Hill Champion Miniature Driving Pair Division ( Raven and Spoofer). Foaled 4/15/13 he currently stands at 33 1/2 inches at 11 months of age, which projects him to be one big mini, about 37 inches! He is bred to drive, nice long neck and legs and a ton of flash with those four white stockings! He is AMHR registered and up to date on all vaciines. He is a really nice ' little' guy and has been gelded.
